Loomis decided to recreate The Chocolate Watchband with The Shandels’ bass player Bill ‘Flo’ Flores, and former Watchband drummer Gary Andrijasevich. They enlisted the help of former Topsiders guitarist Dave “Sean” Tolby, and the charismatic frontman of a local band known as The Early Morning Reign, David Aguilar.
25. März 2018 · As a result, several band members, including singer Aguilar, second line-up replacement guitarist Tim Abbott, and the rhythm section of bassist Bill Flores and drummer Gary Andrijasevich would reunite in the late 1990s and begin playing again.
Adding Gary Andrijasevich, who had briefly taken over drums for the first version of the band, they also grabbed Topsiders guitarist Sean Tolby and vocalist David Aguilar, who was currently with a band called The Mourning Reign.
The original Chocolate Watchband was formed in the autumn of 1965 at Foothill College on the San Francisco peninsula, with a six-man line-up that featured guitarist Mark Loomis and drummer Gary Andrijasevich.
