Go Fer Yer Funk is the first installment of the George Clinton Family Series collection. The album was released in 1992 by P-Vine Records in Japan, and then was released the next year by AEM Records in the U.S. and Sequel Records in the U.K..

Gonna be working through the George Clinton Family Series over the next week or so, just because I feel like it. The first one is pretty cool, highlights include an awesome Cream cover (with a single instrumentalist DeWayne McKnight!), a Parliament jam featuring James Brown, and a very short Sly Stone ditty.
