14. Juni 2014 · The exhibition was curated from George Eastman House’s extensive holdings relating to Hine and is accompanied by a book of the same name. The exhibition ends its international tour in Rochester, after having appeared at the Fundación MAPFRE in Madrid, Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson in Paris, the Nederlands Fotomuseum in Rotterdam, and the International Center of Photography in New York.
6. Okt. 2015 · May18, 2024–September 1, 2024. The exhibition will be a balanced and candid biography that demystifies Eastman. Led by Project Curator Matthew Lynch, it will contextualize the facts of Eastman’s life through a present-day lens, exploring the inventor, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and influential Rochesterian and how he impacts us today.
Driving Directions. To get to the Eastman Museum, take I-90 to I-490. From 490, take exit 19 for Culver Rd. and turn north onto Culver. After about a half-mile on Culver, turn left onto East Avenue. The museum will be on the right. The main museum entrance and Dryden Theatre entrance are located just off the parking lot.
