My ears tell me that there's no doubt that the BBR CD release of the Rock Your Baby album was mastered from vinyl (to my disappointment). I've yet to encounter a George McCrae digital release taken from the original analog masters except for the Rock Your Baby and I Get Lifted singles on Rhino compilation CDs.

März 2024 · About George McCrae Along with wife Gwen McCrae, Miami, Florida-based artist George McCrae was a prime mover on the early disco front with his own R&B chart-topper "Rock Your Baby" in 1974. Born in 1944 in West Palm Beach, he formed his own vocal group in the early '60s, which eventually included his future wife Gwen.
