Gerald „Gerry“ Rafferty (* 16. April 1947 in Paisley; † 4. Januar 2011 in Stroud) war ein britischer Folk-Rock - Singer-Songwriter. Seine Komposition Baker Street machte ihn 1978 weltbekannt. Als Raffertys größte musikalische Stärke wurde sein Gespür für Melodien gewürdigt.
Gerald Rafferty (16 April 1947 – 4 January 2011) was a Scottish singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. He was a founding member of Stealers Wheel, whose biggest hit was "Stuck in the Middle with You" in 1973. His solo hits in the late 1970s included "Baker Street", "Right Down the Line", and "Night Owl".

Gerry Rafferty was a popular music giant at the end of the '70s, thanks to the song "Baker Street" and the album City to City. His career long predated that fixture of Top 40 radio, however; indeed, by the time he cut "Baker Street" Rafferty had already been a member of two successful groups, the Humblebums and Stealers Wheel.
