Von früher Jugend faszinierte Giovanni Sollima jede Art Musik, und er suchte nach neuen Verschmelzungen der unterschiedlichen Genres Klassik, Rock, Jazz und Volksmusik – aus Sizilien und anderer Mittelmeerländer.
