Giuseppe Meazza (* 23. August 1910 in Mailand; † 21. August 1979 in Rapallo) war ein italienischer Fußballspieler und -trainer. Der Stürmer ist einer der erfolgreichsten und populärsten Spieler der italienischen Fußballgeschichte und wurde mit der Nationalmannschaft zweimal in Folge Weltmeister (1934 und 1938).

A prolific forward, Meazza won the Serie A top-scorer award on three occasions in his career; with 216 goals in Serie A, he is the fourth all-time highest goal scorer in Serie A, alongside José Altafini, and with 33 goals, he is also the second highest goalscorer for the Italy national team.

On 3 March 1980 the stadium was named in honour of Giuseppe Meazza, the two-time World Cup winner (1934, 1938) who played for Inter and briefly for Milan in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s, and served two stints as Inter's manager. The San Siro is a UEFA category four stadium.
