Gladys Moore Vanderbilt (1886–1965). Alfred Vanderbilt studierte an der St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire und später an der Yale-Universität; als Yale-Student wurde er in die dortige Skull & Bones -Geheimgesellschaft aufgenommen.
