GLEAMING SPIRES. Leslie Bohem and David Kendrick were members of Sparks during the band’s 1980s resurgence (“Cool Places,” I Predict,” “Tips For Teens”). Gleaming Spires were featured in iconic 1980s films including Revenge Of The Nerds and The Last American Virgin. Their pre-Spires band, Bates Motel, recorded demos with Andrew Gold.
