About us > History and Archive. Gresham’s was founded in 1555 by Sir John Gresham, who converted Holt’s Manor House into a Free Grammar School as a result of Henry VIII’s suppression of the Monasteries. This regime had abolished the only local school at St Mary’s Priory in Beeston Regis, leaving local children without access to education.
Die Details. Das Akademische: GCSEs, A-Levels und das IB im Angebot. Die Gresham's School macht sich akademisch sehr gut. 2023 erreichten Schüler 49% 9-7 Noten in den GCSE-Prüfungen, 45% A-Noten in den A-Level-Prüfungen und einen 35.7 Punkte Durchschnitt im IB. Diese guten Ergebnisse erzielt die Schule ohne dabei besonders selektiv zu sein.
Überblick. Gresham’s ist eine Tages- und Internatsschule für Jungen und Mädchen. Sie liegt auf einem 60 Hektar großen, wunderschönen Gelände auf dem Land am Rande der georgianischen Marktgemeinde Holt und ist nur 6,5 km von der atemberaubenden nördlichen Küste von Norfolk entfernt.
