Review by drfeeelbad ★★. Very Canadian pied piper retelling where some random dude shows up, shreds on his guitar and blows up some locusts. When the townspeople won't pay him, he shreds some more and kidnaps all their kids. Story-wise this is pretty tired but it's absurd enough to be fun if you're into this kind of nonsense.

Guitar Man not only was that passion project I hoped, it became an obsession for myself, cast and crew to make sure we got it right. We stressed keeping the look of the film real and gritty, but more importantly staying true to the core narrative theme - Education, Not Incarceration!
