Gustav Schwarzenegger was the father of Arnold Schwarzenegger, the famous actor and former governor of California. He was an Austrian police commander and postal inspector who served in the Nazi storm troopers and the Wehrmacht during World War II. He died in 1972 from a stroke at the age of 65.
