The Guthrie Theater, founded in 1963, is a center for theater performance, production, education, and professional training in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The concept of the theater was born in 1959 in a series of discussions among Sir Tyrone Guthrie, Oliver Rea and Peter Zeisler.

All camps will take place inside and around the Guthrie Theater at 818 South 2nd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55415. Cost. Each weeklong camp is $445. Two-week camps are $890. This training includes integration of voice, movement, and acting within a range of styles. The combination of experiences within both the University of Minnesota and at the Guthrie Theater offers students a deeper understanding of the performing arts community within today’s landscape.
