  6. Tokyo, Japan — The musical world was dealt a devastating blow with the passing of Donald “Duck” Dunn at the age of 70. Dunn’s bass has been heard for 50 years on some of the most iconic and influential records ever produced. He died in his sleep on May 13 after performing two shows at the Blue Note in Tokyo.
