  4. 15. Nov. 2019 · Of the original band members, Gerry Shephard died in 2003, and sax player Harvey Ellison passed away in 2017. More recently though, things are changing, with their appearances on Top of The Pops re-runs and more BBC radio airplay. In fact, Rock & Roll (part 2) is used in the new 2019 film soundtrack of The Joker.

  5. 1. Feb. 2017 · Just found out Harvey Ellison has died albeit 4 months late. I was a big fan of his and the infamous Glitter Band, whose records I still play today, and I’m 55 nearly. What did Harvey die of? My condolences to his wife and family. With Gerry having gone 14 years ago, it makes one realise, get out there and enjoy life while you can.

Brian Harvey Ellison, formerly of Norwood, died of bowel cancer last week aged 65. Mr Ellison, who in recent years had lived in the New Forest area, was a Prince Henry's Grammar School student in the 1960s.
