Rossall and Harvey Ellison continued to tour with their band, releasing the album Glitteresque in 2008, which was subsequently withdrawn from circulation by their record company because of trademark infringement. Following Ellison's death in 2017, Rossall continued to tour for the rest of his life.

15. Nov. 2019 · Of the original band members, Gerry Shephard died in 2003, and sax player Harvey Ellison passed away in 2017. More recently though, things are changing, with their appearances on Top of The Pops re-runs and more BBC radio airplay. In fact, Rock & Roll (part 2) is used in the new 2019 film soundtrack of The Joker.
6. Nov. 2017 · They’ll now never get together again as sadly Gerry Shephard died of cancer aged just 51 in 2003. Springate and Phipps tour as one incarnation of The Glitter Band. Rossall also still tours regularly, and his band included Harvey Ellison, until he passed away in February 2017. Tony Leonard has now retired from the music business.
