United Artists released the LP in the United States on 19 September 1965, and EMI's Columbia Graphophone label released it in the United Kingdom on 19 November.

Sir George Henry Martin, CBE (* 3. Januar 1926 in Holloway, jetzt: London Borough of Islington, England; † 8. März 2016 in Swindon, Wiltshire ), war ein britischer Musikproduzent. Er war zudem musikalischer Arrangeur, beeinflusste maßgeblich die Karriere der Band The Beatles und schuf für sie und andere Bands trendsetzende Aufnahmen.
