He was best known as a cast member of Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In , for his role as Haven Hamilton in Nashville , for his recurring role as Judge Clark Brown on Boston Legal , the Illinois Nazi leader in The Blues Brothers and as Bob Jenkins in King of the Hill .
A character actor who emerged out of Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In (1968-71), Gibson made telling appearances in several features.
