Made - of course - by one of America's powerful religious groups, this play does rather wear its agenda on its sleeve, but that doesn't matter, as what it does, it does well. Interesting to compare this to the Studio One production of the play 'Pontius Pilate' from around the same time, which is not quite so pious.
