Timothy Bruce Schmit (* 30. Oktober 1947 in Oakland, Kalifornien) ist ein US-amerikanischer Musiker, Songwriter, Bassist und Sänger. Er ist Mitglied der Country-Rock -Band Eagles und war vorher Bassist und Sänger der Band Poco .

When asked about his songwriting for Day By Day , he said that he uses his studio as a writing space until he’s ready to record.
