Horace Elgin Dodge was an automotive pioneer who founded the Dodge automobile brand along with his brother John. He was a mechanical engineer, a yacht builder, and a music lover who supported the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. He died in 1920 and is buried in a mausoleum in Detroit.
