Prof. Dr. Hyman Minsky 1919 in Chicago geboren, studierte Mathematik und Ökonomie an der Universität Chicago und der Harvard Universität. Lehrtätigkeit an verschiedenen Universitäten, u.a. Berkeley, seit 1965 Professor an der Washington-University in St. Louis. Hyman Minsky starb 1996.
