Die Abkehr vom Motiv des Gentleman-Einbrechers hin zum ruppigen Ganoven war seinerzeit sicherlich erfrischend – der Plot und die Figurenzeichnung gewinnen nach heutigen Maßstäben aber wahrlich keine Innovationspreise mehr.
