Institut des hautes études cinématographiques. Die französische Filmhochschule Institut des Hautes Études Cinématographiques ( IDHEC) wurde Ende 1943 vom avantgardistischen Filmregisseur Marcel L’Herbier, dem Produzenten Pierre Gérin und dem Komponisten Yves Baudrier in Paris gegründet.
L'institut comprend trois services: formation artistique et technique des créateurs des films, recherches par l’institution d’un centre expérimental pour les travaux pratiques et les films d’essai, et expansion de l’art cinématographique, par le biais de publications, conférences et projections.
