März 2023 · Der Turn-Weltverband FIG teilt mit, dass das Gremium der Disziplinarkommission der Stiftung für Ethik im Turnen (GEF) die Cheftrainerin der russischen Rhythmischen Gymnastik Irina WINER-USMANOWA mit einer zweijährigen Sperre bestraft und den russischen Mitgliedsverband mit einer Verwarnung.
Irina A. Viner-Usmanova is now the President of the Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, Head Coach of the National R. G. Team, Hero of Labour of the Russian Federation, Prof. Dr. of Pedagogical Sciences and one of the most respected persons in world sport.
Since 1992 Irina Viner-Usmanova was the Head Coach of the Olympic Training Center. She became the Head Coach of the Russian National Team in 2001 and the President of the Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation in 2008.
Irina Viner-Usmanova’s Gymnastics Palace in Luzhniki won a prestigious award in the field of development and architecture in the ‘Best sports and cultural object’ category. The Moscow Gymnastics Palace overtook the Gardia Arts Center in Beijing (CHN), the Congress Center in Metz (FRA) and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London (GBR).
