Ištar, sumerisch Inanna ( Sumerogramm: d MÙŠ), ist der akkadische Name einer in Mesopotamien verehrten Gottheit. Ihr wurden viele verschiedene Attribute und zahlreiche Tempelbauten zugeschrieben.
