Jacques Brautbar (born March 14, 1979) is an American composer and musician, formerly of rock band Phantom Planet . Biography. Jacques Brautbar was born in Los Angeles on March 14, 1979. He began his career in music as founder, guitarist, arranger, and songwriter for Phantom Planet.
Los Angeles based Composer Jacques Brautbar combines traditional orchestral colors with the palates of electronic and ethereal sonic art. Jacques has a Masters of Music from the Thornton School of Music and is an alumnus of the prestigious Sundance Lab for Music and Sound Design.
This is the story of Jacques Brautbar and his musical career journey from songwriter in Phantomplanet and Sony/Atv, to composer for films like Bob Trevino Likes It and Skywalkers: A Love Story.

That’s how he met director Reuben Guberek and producer Jacqueline Walukas, who told him about their dream project: a stylized spoof of Goodfellas , set in the fast food industry.
