James & Bobby Purify Profil: Soul duo formed in 1965 by cousins James Purify and Bobby Purify (2) (real name Robert Lee Dickey). Robert adopted his cousins name for the duo. Robert retired from the music business for health reasons in 1969 and was replaced by Ben Moore (2) who adopted the stage name Bobby Purify.
