Jean-Benoît Dunckel (born 7 September 1969) is a French musician best known for being one half of the French music duo Air, along with Nicolas Godin. [1] In the 1980s, he formed the band Orange with Alex Gopher, Xavier Jamaux and Jean de Reydellet.

Jean-Benoît Dunckel, né le 7 septembre 1969 à Versailles, est un auteur-compositeur-interprète français. Il est avant tout connu comme étant cofondateur du duo Air. Il a sorti en septembre 2006 un album solo sous le nom de Darkel (en), parallèlement à son travail au sein du groupe Air.
