Jean-Christophe Yoccoz, a leading expert in Dynamical Systems and a Fields Medalist, died on 3 September 2016, aged 59 years old. He was a professor at the Collège de France in Paris and a frequent visitor of ICTP, where he organized and lectured on Dynamical Systems topics.
