Dr. Gillis obtained his Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Toronto where he also focused on large-scale integration of expression data to improve understanding of gene function for his post-doc studies. His research aims to help understand the flow of information from the genome to whole-organism biology through modeling and analysis of functional genomics data.
