Jeremy Francis "Jez" Williams (born 18 February 1970) is the guitarist/songwriter of Doves. He was born in Manchester , England, and is the twin brother of bandmate Andy and the son of noted modernist architect Desmond Williams .
Doves are an English indie rock band, formed in Manchester in 1998. The band is composed of twin brothers Jez (guitar, vocals) and Andy Williams (drums, vocals), and Jimi Goodwin (lead vocals, bass, guitar). Additionally, the band employs Martin Rebelski, as a touring and session musician on keyboards.

Doves‘ guitarist Jez Williams and drummer, brother Andy, are sat on a couch feeling pretty pleased with themselves. “We’ve just been on Football Focus,” explains Jez, “and we got to sit on the Match of the Day seats! It’s pretty sad, but it’s a nice day out isn’t it?”
