8. Feb. 2024 · PORT ANGELES — Clallam County Public Utility District Commissioner Jim Waddell has died of pancreatic cancer. The Port Angeles resident, who also founded DamSense which lobbied for the breaching of the Snake River dams, died Monday, according to a press release from the Clallam PUD. He was 70.

8. Feb. 2024 · PORT ANGELES — A Clallam County PUD commissioner has died. Jim Waddell died earlier this week at the age of 70. He had been battling pancreatic cancer. Waddell served District Three for the PUD, which runs from Port Angeles to the west end of Clallam County. He was elected to the PUD in 2018.
