  4. 21. Juni 2018 · Although Clem Burke performed as the band's primary drummer on the release, original drummer Jimmy Marinos is featured on half of the tracks. The album was not a great commercial success, but won the Romantics a newfound critical respect that they had not enjoyed during their popular and commercial heyday in the early 1980s.

  5. “The Romantics” arrived in stores in 1980 and was highlighted by the incredible single, “What I Like About You” featuring drummer Jimmy Marinos on lead vocal. “What I Like About You” has become the Romantics’ best-known hit, but surprisingly it only peaked at # 49 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
