John Pitt, 2. Earl of Chatham (* 9. Oktober 1756 in Hayes, London-Bromley; † 24. September 1835 in London) war ein britischer Offizier und Politiker. Er war unter anderem Erster Lord der Admiralität. General John Pitt, 2nd Earl of Chatham, also 2nd Viscount Pitt and 2nd Baron Chatham, KG, PC (9 October 1756 – 24 September 1835) was a British soldier and politician. He spent a lengthy period in the cabinet but is best known for commanding the disastrous Walcheren Campaign of 1809.
Bei seinem Tod 1778 erbte sein ältester Sohn John Pitt die Titel als 2. Earl. Dieser erbte beim Tod seiner Mutter Hester Pitt, Countess of Chatham (1720–1803) auch den Titel Baron Chatham, of Chatham in the County of Kent, der dieser am 4. Dezember 1761 in der Peerage of Great Britain verliehen worden war.
