Jonathan Mark Thomas Noyce [nʊɪs] (* 15. Juli 1971 in Sutton Coldfield, heute Teil von Birmingham, West Midlands, England ), [1] ist ein britischer Musiker. Er spielt E-Bass und ist in erster Linie bekannt als Mitglied der britischen Rockband Jethro Tull (1995 bis 2007). [2] .
Jonathan Mark Thomas Noyce (born 15 July 1971) is an English musician. He is primarily a bass guitar player. Noyce is known for being a member of British rock group Jethro Tull for 12 years, and also for his collaborations with guitarist Gary Moore, film composer Daniel Pemberton, the band Archive and French artist Mylène Farmer.
2005 erschien das Album Ian Anderson Plays the Orchestral Jethro Tull, an dem auch David Goodier und John O’Hara sowie der Gitarrist Florian Opahle beteiligt waren. 2007 verließen der Bassist Jonathan Noyce und der Keyboarder Andrew Giddings die Band und wurden durch Goodier und O’Hara ersetzt. 2008 bis 2011 ging Jethro Tull auf „40th Anniversary Tour“ bis „43rd Anniversary Tour“.

Jonathan Noyce was born in Sutton Coldfield, in the Midlands of England, on the 15th July, 1971, three months after the release of Jethro Tull’s “Aqualung” album. His father, Peter, was Assistant Organist and Choirmaster at Lichfield Cathedral, and his mother, Jane, a town planner.
