June Leaf. June Leaf wurde 1929 in Chicago geboren, wo sie am New Bauhaus Institute of Design studierte. 1954 schloss sie ihre künstlerische Ausbildung an der Roosevelt University ab. Leafs erste Einzelausstellung fand 1948 in der Sam Bordelon Gallery (Chicago) statt, seitdem hat sie ihre Arbeiten auch international zeigen können.
