He has composed the musical score to many games, including Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, Mario Paint, Yoshi's Story, Animal Crossing, and many others. He created the modern voice of Yoshi, used ever since Yoshi's Story.
Kazumi Totaka is a veteran Nintendo composer and sound director, who has been behind the music of several games since the Game Boy era. He mostly works on the Animal Crossing and Yoshi franchises.
