Home. Writer Biographies. Keith Christopher is actively involved in music as a composer, arranger, orchestrator and producer. His musical roots go back to Wylie, Texas, where he grew up playing trumpet in band, accompanying in church, and singing in the church youth choir. After high school, he studied music theory and composition and conducting.
In 1980, Dan Baird (former guitarist for the Atlanta band the Nasty Bucks), lead guitarist Rick Richards, bassist Keith Christopher, and drummer David Michaelson formed a band named Keith and the Satellites in Atlanta, Georgia. After performing in local bars, the band's line-up changed.
