In their nomination of Knudsen for the award, five past presidents of SSA commended him for his advice on multiple issues related to SSA operations and for his work in a demanding role for the Society, carried out from 2007 to 2016.

The Doobie Brothers wurden 1969 von Tom Johnston, John Hartman, Skip Spence (ex- Moby Grape) und Gregg Murph in Süd-Kalifornien unter dem Bandnamen Pud gegründet. Gregg Murph verließ bald die Band, als Ersatz kam Dave Shogren. 1970 kam noch Patrick Simmons dazu. Doobie ist eine Slangbezeichnung für einen Zwei-Blatt-Joint.
Keith Knudsen. In May of 1981, Keith joined Security Bank full-time as a management trainee after working part-time as an intern. After serving in various management roles for the bank, Knudsen was elected President in 2013 and President/CEO in 2015. Knudsen earned a Business Administration-Finance degree from Wayne State College in May 1981.
Childhood. Keith Knudsen was born in 1940s. The early 1940s were dominated by World War II. Following the end of the war, it was the start of the Baby Boomer years and technology advancements such as the jet engine, nuclear fusion, radar, rocket technology and others later became the starting points for Space Exploration and Improved Air Travel.
