Ketch Secor is a multi-instrumentalist and fiddler for Old Crow Medicine Show, an American roots string band with punk rock attitude and energy. He was born in 1978 in Virginia and started playing music at an early age. He discovered Bob Dylan's "Wagon Wheel" and wrote a children's book based on a Southern folktale.
Ketch Secor and Chris "Critter" Fuqua met in the seventh grade in Harrisonburg, Virginia and began playing music together. They performed open mics at the Little Grill diner, as did Robert St. Ours who went on to found The Hackensaw Boys.

He started the band in 1999 with his friends from a cabin in North Carolina, where they made corn whiskey and sold weed. He met Bob Dylan and Darius Rucker, and his songs have been covered by many artists.
