In 1975, school friends and neighbours from Wandsworth, South London, Kim McAuliffe ( rhythm guitar, vocals) and Dinah Enid Williams ( bass, vocals) formed an all-girl rock cover band called Painted Lady, together with Tina Gayle on drums.
