Ysgol 3-19 Brenin Harri’r VIII / King Henry VIII 3-19 School, is a new three storey all-through upper and lower school catering for 1820 pupils, located in Abergavenny. The project includes facilities for foundation, primary, secondary, sixth form and children with additional learning needs.
Our Senior Phase comprises Year 12 and Year 13 pupils. Aims. Our aims are to: Provide a stimulating learning environment. Provide pupils with high levels of challenge. Provide excellent standards of education, both vocational and academic. Provide enrichment activities which stimulate social and cultural awareness.
Years 7 and 8 pupils are asked to complete two tasks per week. Pupils in Year 9, Year 10, and Year 11 receive regular home learning in their lessons to help them consolidate their learning.
