Kristian "Kris" Weston (a.k.a. Thrash) (born 1972) is a British electronic musician, record producer and remixer best known for his work as a member of The Orb. Around the beginning of his career, he worked with Andrew Weatherall on remixes of Meat Beat Manifesto, remixed for Primal Scream, Saint Etienne, U2 and others.
Much of the album was recorded after founding member Jimmy Cauty left the group, leaving Alex Paterson as the central member, with additional contributions by Kris Weston, Andy Falconer and several others.

Born in 1972, Kris Weston is a British electronic music producer, engineer, synth player (programmer) and guitarist. His early remix work for artists like Depeche Mode, U2, Saint Etienne and Bananarama in the early 90's appears under the Thrash moniker.
As a member of The Orb from 1991 – 95, Kris Weston had a hand in the majority of the bands greatest output, including producing perhaps their best known track, Little Fluffy Clouds. After an acrimonious split in the mid 90s, he has long kept silent on his reasons for leaving the band.
The most influential collaborator of all was also the most inexperienced: a protégé of Andrew Weatherall, Kris Weston was gaining acclaim as a remixer (Depeche Mode, Bananarama) when he began engineering ….
