Der schon seit den späten Siebzigern unter dem Alias Pyrolator aktive Kurt Dahlke gehört zu den Vordenkern der elektronischen Musik Düsseldorfs. Charakteristisch ist die Offenheit seines Ansatzes, die ihn auch zu Bands wie den Fehlfarben oder Der Plan brachte.
Kurt Dahlke (born 29 April 1958) is a German musician and record producer. He is a founding member of record label/publishing company Ata Tak and has worked and still works in several bands. Dahlke is also known as Pyrolator. Several times he has been commissioned by the Goethe-Institut for workshops or concerts.

My idea of Wuppertal in the 70s is lots of free jazz. That’s right.
3. Dezember 2018. in Was los hier. Kurt Dahlke darf man getrost als musikalisch vielseitig bezeichnen. Der Betreiber des Labels Ata Tak ist unter anderem Mitglied der Fehlfarben, war aber zuletzt auch mit seiner Band Der Plan in Düsseldorf live zu erleben. Nun hat er – und das überrascht dann doch – Weihnachtsmusik komponiert.
