Drummer John Stoltz played with the band from 1990 to 1995, when Lance Chalmers took his place and played with the band for eight years. In 1995, Gogo replaced Blaine Smith, becoming Trooper's keyboardist and in 1996, bassist Scott Brown joined the band.

Feb. 2024 · An Abbotsford music teacher and former drummer with the Canadian rock band Trooper has released a novel that showcases missing Indigenous women with a subplot about Indigenous musicians and their struggles. Lance Chalmers’s book Rocker from the Rez has been released through BWL Publishing.
This year Lance was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame with the iconic Canadian classic rock band, Trooper. He currently resides in BC where he teaches guitar, bass, and drums. On the weekends, Lance plays gigs with numerous bands. Also, he is often commissioned as a session percussionist for various artists worldwide.
