Life is the 17th studio album by Canadian musician Neil Young and his American backing band Crazy Horse, and it is Young's last release on the Geffen label. As with their 1979 album Rust Never Sleeps, most of the songs were recorded live with later studio overdubs. The album was released on July 6, 1987.

Neil Percival Young OC OM [1] [2] (born November 12, 1945) is a Canadian and American [3] singer and songwriter. After embarking on a music career in Winnipeg in the 1960s, Young moved to Los Angeles, joining the folk-rock group Buffalo Springfield.

Life. T he Life album was released in July 1987. It was produced by Neil Young and David Briggs. The album cover shows two hands holding bars, which represents Neil Young behind bars. This symbolize his bad terms with the record company Geffen that had gone on for many years and Life was the last album before Young got free from his contract.
