His daughter Jenny kept an album, an image of which is shown, and the answers shown in the right hand column are in Laura Marx's hand.
Her sister broke the rabbinical chain by marrying the banker Lion Philips, grandfather of the founder of the well-known Dutch and international industrial concern, who after Heinrich's death acted as trustee for Karl Marx's mother.
