Timi Yuro. Rosemary Victoria Yuro (August 4, 1940 – March 30, 2004), known professionally as Timi Yuro, was an American singer. Sometimes called "the little girl with the big voice", [1] she is considered to be one of the first blue-eyed soul stylists of the rock era. Yuro possessed a contralto vocal range. [2]

Timi Yuro has the best Soul/Country voice I've heard in many a long day. Some of the lesser known tracks give most new pleasure, but "Hurt" and "Smile" are quite outstanding. Would have liked a few more happy tracks though, as the lyrics of most of the songs are about love lost and pain - so not really a car CD..
