As the title to the album, plus the lead track, “I’m Going to Make You Mine” was another big hit for Lou Christie when it peaked at number ten on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1969. It was his first single to chart since signing up with Buddah Records after returning from his stint with the American Army.
